Portland LumberJax was a professional indoor lacrosse team based in Portland, Oregon. The team was a member of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and played in the league from 2006 to 2009. The LumberJax played their home games at the Rose Garden (now Moda Center).
The team was known for having one of the most passionate fan bases in the NLL, and the team's supporters were known as "Jax Pack." The LumberJax won the NLL championship in 2007, defeating the Buffalo Bandits in the final.
After the 2009 season, the LumberJax were disbanded due to financial difficulties. However, Portland remains a lacrosse hotbed, with the sport thriving at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels.
